George Orwell’s animal farm enables us as readers to understand the satirical and ignorant nature of humanity and our constant need of manipulation by those in power in hope to allow us to create alternate realities that are able to comfort us and blind us from the harsh truths of contemporary issues. Animalism is a metaphorical concept in which depicts the nature of humanity throughout animals, and how are in constant need of the manipulation of those in power in hope to feed our weakness, being the inability and lacking acceptance of the truths in our lives. Orwell satirizes the ironic nature of propaganda and how we as humans understand its underlying faults and its ability to blind us from the truths and in fact support our ignorant nature.
