Thousands of Christians throughout history have been martyred as a result of their belief in Jesus Christ and God’s Word, and millions in the world today question the truth of the Gospel and God’s Word. The recent Oregon and ISIS killings cause unbelievers to question why. Why would someone be willing to die for a belief in something that appears as foolishness? 1 Peter 3:15 states, “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.” Every believer in Christ is responsible to know why he believes what he believes. Sadly, countless Christians live life knowing what they believe, but not why. Why do they believe there is only one God? Why do they believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God? Many Infallible Proofs was written as a tool for believers to study the reason for the hope that is within them. Although the first edition was printed in 1974, Henry M. Morris and his son, Henry M. Morris III, revised and edited the book with the revised edition including topics that have surfaced and become prevalent since that time. The Bible is worth believing and putting one’s faith in. The historical account of the Bible proves to be accurate archaeologically, scientifically, and prophetically. After reading this book, the unsaved will know why Christians believe in the Bible, and the saved will have a solidified faith that enhances their witness for Christ. Even though it is imperative for Christians to study the reason for their beliefs, “Skill at persuasion and argumentation is no substitute for prayer and sincere concern for souls, and certainly no substitute for the Word of God
