2. a. The effect would probably include less plants being able to survive since so little sunlight is making it through to Earth. Then the greenhouse gas effect would happen where the smoke would hold in the heat, causing the whole planet to warm-up. Short-term it would only effect the maple tree and the teenager because the maple tree would not be getting enough light (or would have to compete with others more) and so would soon die. The teenager wouldn’t get any vitamin D or be able to tan, meaning they would get mad. The reason small song birds were able to survive better than large birds, even with DDT, was because they did not ingest as much of it. Since the large birds would consume more crops, they would ingest a lot more of the chemicals, where as the small birds would barely need any of the crops to live. This would mean that the large birds would accumulate more of the DDT in their system.
f. When you hunt and gather food, there can be a bad year that can lead to starvation which causes a majority of people to starve to death. When you grow your own crops, you know exactly how much you are getting, meaning that you will have enough food to survive, and keep a bigger population.

The first idea would allow you to span out your meals for a longer period of time, since you would be able to eat the eggs, which you did not have before, since a chicken lays an egg about every day, you would get 8 eggs per day, which you could also store for later use. Also, when you are out of grain you still have a final stand of whatever eggs are left and eight chickens, so you could last for a substantial amount of time. The second idea, you would be fed well for a short time, but you would quickly run out of food and die. The third idea would give you a variety of both of the last two, you would still be fed fairly well, but you would also be able to survive for a long time. By eating one hen a week you would be able to still get eggs, but also be able to survive on chicken throughout the time
