The movie takes place in Salzburg, Austria, where Maria is training to become a nun. But Maria was always troublesome in the Abbey. So the Mother Abbess Suggested that Maria will be a governess for Captain von Trapp and his seven children. And when Maria reached to the home of Captain on Trapp and the children, the children tries to run Maria off by pulling mischievous tricks like they do to the other governesses that were hired before Maria came. But after a while the children started to take a liking toward Maria, so while the Captain is away Maria takes the seven children out to play even if the Captain forbids it. Rolfe did not have time for Liesl anymore. After Maria and captain came back from their honeymoon, Liesl gave Captain the telegram. The telegram says that Captain von Trapp must help fight. The Captain looked at it and was angry. At night the family tries to escape by pushing the car so they won’t make any noise but was soon found out. They lied to the man who wanted the Captain to join them by saying that they are going to the show where they would all sing and so the man said I’ll escort you there and at the concert they sang together. But and the end when they announce the winner for 1st place which was the Von Trapp family but the Von trapped family was gone. The man and his troops quickly went to the Abbey where the Von Trapp family was hiding. While they were hiding Rolfe found them and pulled out a gun threatening the Captain to go with him. The Captain came closer while Rolfe say don’t come closer. Eventually the Captain grabbed the gun and went off saying Rolfe will never be a man. I like this song because when I sing it, it makes me feel less afraid. The hard parts of the song were that when it goes to “when the dog bites……” You have to go loud. And I usually like to sing my songs not too loud. Also another song I like is “Do-Re-Mi.” it’s when Maria teaches the children how to sing by sing that song. I like this song because it helps me learn new songs using different pitch. The hard part is after you’re up to the second part of the song where you have to sing “Do-Re-Mi-Fa….” instead of singing “bring us back to do...” I usually forget to sing the other one.
