A movie based off the historical life of Marie Antionette, Princess of Austria to marry The prince of France, to have a alliance between the two nations. Marie Antionette 2006, was based on a book called Marie Antionette: the Journey written by Antonia Fisher. The movie gives you this colorful visual details of the same plot line of the book. In the year of the movies release, it was expected to have better quality than it would originally have and probably could've include more detail and added more to the movie. It felt like the movie was to be rather short and could've added another important event to the story. On the other hand the movie is average, not a typically movie that you would really go out and watch, but a good historical movie to do your research on. The movie starts us off with a long monologue of Marie Antoinette mother reading her letter she wrote talking about that a daughter of her must marry Louis XVI in order to have an alliance between France and Austria. The Queen has offered her youngest daughter Marie Antionette Marry the Prince of France and produce an air to the throne. Marie Antoinette is soon on her journey to the halfway mark between France and Austria and was forced to leave all her Austin belongings behind and start her new life as a French Princess. The movie was supposed to be about Marie Antoinette it showed some depth about her but not everything about her.
