Marie Tallchief was an indian girl from Oklahoma she had a passion of dance. She started when she was three years old. She was born in 1925 and spent some of her childhood in the Osage reservation in Oklahoma. Ballet brought her out of her shell it made her happy. She would always get bullied because her last name because she was indian. There aren't many indian ballet dancers so not that many people believed in her but her grandma did I know Marie Tallchief worked the hardest because she had to overcome many prejudices and train hard. Marie really didn’t have anything fancy. Marie had to deal with people doubting her because she's indian and in my opinion racism is worse then not letting females do whatever they want even though there both terrible. Marie couldn't help being indian Rosa could just look like a guy it dosent make any sense to me. Marie had to work the hardest to support her grandma Marie had to live two lives. One as a indian girl and one as a famous ballet dancer. Her skills kept growing and growing but she had to deal with people making fun of her. She could have just stopped and quit and lived with her grandma because she was being bullied. Marie was more successful in my mind too because she met the president and preformed all over the world. Marie had to overcome bullying, racism, people not believing in her because she's indian. She was just a little indian girl from Oklahoma that lived in a tribe that had a natural talent.
