Small organizations, local farms, and individual growers resent the big dispensaries and larger industry marijuana growers because of competition. However, the resentment is more of fear because smaller marijuana growers and the cities/towns they live, in most cases rely heavily on marijuana as the main source of income. There are now towns/cities that cannot operate without marijuana, and there are stores that sell goods that cater to marijuana growers.
