Everyone at least once in their life had someone or something to look up to. It could have been a superhero, a symbol, or simply their parent, but it always had to be something that they can look at and say “I want to be that person” or “I want to achieve all the things that they have achieved”. Marilyn Monroe was not just a person that many women looked up to but she was also one of the most recognized sex symbols that Hollywood and TV viewers around the world fell in love with. She was a star of Hollywood that always shined that forever be remember as the most remarkable women in America. Two years later, she met a photographer that had taken multiple pictures of her for the Army Weekly magazine called Yank. He learned that Marilyn wanted to become a successful actress so he strongly encouraged her to apply at the Blue Book modeling agency as a start off to the path of fame. At the age of 19, getting into the agency and building her career as a model, she attracted a great amount of attention not only from the photographer but also casting directors, which got her into an acting industry with 20th Century Fox. Not long afterwards, Marilyn met a famous baseball player, Joe DiMaggio, which led to her second marriage. As she acted and posed for the modeling photo-shoot, many have noticed dozens of bruises on her body. With rumors spreading around Hollywood that DiMaggio abused her, she ended her second marriage.
