Marine biology has always made an impact on the world, through the eyes of science and wonder of something most rarely see. Documents on shark and whale behaviour, as well as theories of big sea creatures were always my escape growing up and my passion as a young adult to what I could achieve, fuelling my desire to study this subject. I had taken time to revaluate the course I am currently on and realised that I needed to change my route and chase a new course. This one. My confidence that this course will further my education and provide me with beneficial experience towards my desired goal comes from the fact I have always enjoyed learning about the sciences and in my free time, around the sea and those it calls home. I stated that I started to study sea creatures for the past couple of years on my own accord, despite not realising it was what I wanted to do, rather just a dream but now I could. All I have already done will help me in my new course as it helped me develop my research and communication skills. During these years of personal study, I have gained a driven curiosity and interest within the subject and bought my own books on the subject I want to progress into, with marine biology with a foundation year, I know I will start with foundation year learning to analyse situations to find solutions and to further my communication skills all within science so I can easily move into the course I am wanting to go
