Persepolis is a narrative about a young girl named Marji Satrapi, who has to leave her childhood during the Islamic revolution. Marjane Satrapi was the writer of the book. The story, Persepolis taught me a good deal about her country. Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi is an outstanding record. When Marji first went to school, she had to get into a veil because the students must all be disciplined. Marji sometimes thought to herself a lot and during the revolution all the citizenry had to follow all directions. Marji's dad told her about his grandpa who was part of the revolution. She got funny and wanted to know where he was and her dad told him he was in prison. She was sad, then desired to see him.
