Mark Twain study showed how humans tend to set themselves on a pedestal (higher animal), but their actions put them at the bottom of the totem pole (lower animal.) One study Twain shared how he incorporated several different species of animals in a cage, and they were all taught to get along. They were able to live in peace, Twain stated, "even affectionately." When this experiment was done with humans, the outcome was totally different. Humans could not seem to agree on a simple issue. Which lead to them destroying one another. We are experiencing this very thing in the country right now. Because of different religious views, lives are being destroyed and countries demolished.
