I chose to read Mark Twains True Story, Repeated Word for Word As I Heard It, which I wouldn't have done if I realized someone else had already done so. I would think that the main theme of the story is to never judge a book by its cover. I say this because to start off the story there was a boy who asked his Aunt Rachel who was his servant at the time how she never had any trouble in her life.
