• P alleges excessive force and false arrest. P claims he was at his former girlfriend’s apartment when two MOS arrested. P claims that he was placed in RMP and taken to PSA 6 precinct. P claims that at the precinct several MOS assaulted him causing him to lose vision in one eye. MOS Carlos Sierra was not present at the precinct for the incident.
INVESTIGATION: On 07-15-16 at approximately 0823 hours, Officer Harrell #3441 and I were dispatched to 1716 Newport Avenue for a court order violation investigation. Dispatch advised us that Suspect Gerardo Jimenez was sitting in a white Dodge pickup truck directly in front of the residence. Suspect Jimenez has reportedly been known to be violent and breaks miscellaneous items.

Before coming to Full Sail University, I had encountered many obstacles. One in particular placed so much doubt in my mind and made me question if this was what I truly wanted to do, or who I wanted to become. Leave my family that is grieving over our loved one, or follow my dreams that my grandmother wanted to see being achieved? This was the hardest decision, each passing day tore me in two and knowing that both of you have doubts about this career choice, because you don’t see what it does and can do. What I’ve faced is similar to her, yet different as well this female artist started at the bottom and slowly worked her way to the top.
Edith Chavez, whose ethnicity is Native American and Mexican, grew up under the guidance of her single mother. She was raised alongside her brothers Johnny and Tommy, and her younger sister Bryanna. She grew up in Roswell, New Mexico and now at the age of 23 years old lives in Spring Hill, Florida. Edith has nothing but high aspirations and determination for a successful future. Edith, otherwise known as 'Edi ' to only those close to her, has such tenacity and a kind heart that carries her wherever life takes her.
Cesar Chavez, a first-generation American, latino farm worker born in Yuma, Arizona, is a true American hero. At the age of 10, his family lost everything they owned due to the Great Depression. From the age of ten, Chavez migrated throughout the southwest working in the fields, where he was exposed to the hard work of a farm worker. Getting paid very low wages, while working in an extremely uncomfortable environment he got little sleep. Growing up in a hectic environment, he always had a true passion of helping others earn what they deserve.

Having a father who was a farmer, he witnessed the poor living conditions and wages that were given to him and knew that something had to be done. Garcia, uses Cesar Chavez’s own words to express his spiritual and religious personality and how it led him to organize a movement for a change in the farm workers’ lifestyle of America. Through his experiences and observations with religion and spirituality growing up, Cesar created his own myth by conveying nonviolence and self-sacrifice as the basis of his American religious experience. Thus, paving the way towards reform for farm workers. To be able to understand Cesar’s motive behind his movement, violence and nonviolence needs to be distinguished. A violent movement is a protest that is set up to achieve a goal by using violent acts (riots, house raids, etc.).
