Both were great American heroes for the black community; in fact, they were excellent civil right leaders for the U.S population. They believed in equal rights amongst all man, regardless of the skin color. They also showed that anyone can change the world. It doesn’t matter what race you are or what background you came from. Not only did Mr. King and Malcolm fight for equality but they also had very wise for their times. Many of the words they said are remembered by the U.S today. Mr. King once said, “Courage is the power of the mind to overcome fear,” I realize not only did he stand up for the people, but he stood up to his fears. day after day. He stood up to his fears when others were not ready to do the same. Mr. King encouraged others to live a fearless life through his speeches, sermons and his actions. Malcolm X once said that “Without education, you’re not going anywhere in this world.” This is very true its hard to live in this time with just a high school degree. It is incredible to believe that these quotes are so true to this day. We all need to go to school and get educated to learn how to deal with other people who are different from us. This is the only way to change the world with knowledge and patience.
