Throughout this course as a class we have covered many topics such as Freedom, War, Religion and Happiness to name a few. When you 're learning about different events that have happened you gain a better understanding of what has happen to make the world we live in today what it is, there is good things that has shaped the United States but there is also some bad things that has happen in the past the has shaped the kind of world we live in today. changed the world he helped communicate that there were huge problems going in society, he was able to change laws to make racial segregation not happen and help welcome people of every skin color. Today years later he is still someone that people can look up to. The Second article I choose was Philosophy, Happiness, and the meaning of life By Robert C. Solomon. This article was really good I was able to learn a lot from what Robert Solomon wrote. He explains what makes your life meaningful, how different people are to have a different sense about how they think their life should be lived. Robert also explains what is happiness, that happiness is only a feeling you can only be happy for a short amount of time before your unhappy again. Robert communicated what he was trying to say very well. As humans we get so used to having are schedules, routines we tend to forget why we are doing what we 're doing we forget the reason why we are going to school, have family gatherings. Robert talks about happiness and how everyone has their own kind; we cannot judge other people on what they find happiness in. Some people may find they are happier with things you may find sad and vice versa.
