body paragraph 1: Martin Luther King jr. was born on January 15,1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up in Atlanta. Since Martin Luther King jr. was born there was racism. Martin always experienced racism and segregation. But that didn't stop him from doing what he wanted. Martin Luther King jr. became a preacher like his father. Before he became a preacher Martin had joined college when he was 15 and had flew through college like it was nothing. He gained his phd. After he graduated he became more spiritual. They planned a city wide bus boycott in Montgomery, Alabama. The boycott lasted 382 days and included walking to work, harassment, violence, intimidation, and Martin’s house being attacked. After losing battles in court and money Montgomery lifted the law. He also road buses with the Freedom Riders and Jim Zwerg and John Lewis. Being inspired by Gandhi's nonviolent theory and Gandhi’s birthplace Martin got more involved in the civil rights movement. Martin and his associates planned massive plans in the nation's capital. 200,000 people was in the Lincoln Memorial shadow when Martin Luther King jr. delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech. One of the famous speech of all time. This speech asked people to make a peaceful change. It emphasises that one day all men could be brothers.(
