Martin Luther King has always chosen courage when he was fighting for civil rights. When Martin Luther King was arrested many times and sent to prison for his protests, he did not let that stop him from serving his mission of civil rights. He was pronounced dead at 7:05 p.m. King died on April 4, 1968. Martin Luther King was 39 years old when he was assassinated at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis.
