Leader Chosen Not everyone was born to be a leader, but they can still be encouraging to other people in their respective organizations, family, or community. Leadership is a position where you try to get different individuals to come together and accomplish a similar goal. Leaders come from all types of different backgrounds, which brings different ideas and characteristics to their organization. There are many different leaders within a group, organization, or team. However, you always have that one person who’s willing to take charge and get the job done. was born January 15, 1929, Atlanta, GA U.S. His grandfather began to pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, he served from 1914-1931. Martin Luther was co-pastor until his father had passed in the year of 1960. Martin Luther attended a public school where the blacks and the whites were segregated in Georgia. King graduated in his very early years at the age of fifteen. King accomplished his B. A. degree in the year of 1948 from Morehouse College, a Negro college where both his father and grandfather had graduated from. While he was living in Boston he met and married Coretta Scott, a young intellectual woman who was also very artistic. Martin Luther King Jr. may be one of the strongest and most famous in world history, but it amongst the greatest legacies left in American history, and quite possibly the greatest legacy in African-American history. The impact that the speeches, rallies, and marches had on the economy of the country, the esteem of people of color, and social change that was instilled still resounds to this day. Improving the economy, refining the social condition of the oppressed, and creating new roles for leadership in civilization is quite possibly the highlight of being a leader, and the task that every leader should seek to accomplish. It may have cost Dr. King his life, but his efforts have lived on ever since, and hopefully they will continue as new and old waves of social injustice complicate the future of our great nation once again. It may be said that Dr. King has thus far been the most influential African-American, or perhaps past President Barack Obama, however, what can be said is Dr. King was a trailblazer that epitomized being a leader and role model in the regards of family, community, and nation.
