Entrepreneur and business leader Mary Kathlyn Wagner was born on May 12th, 1918 in Hot Wells, Texas. She left the traditional workplace after a man that she trained got promoted before her. She started her own cosmetic brand. She used incentives programs and other strategies to give her employees the chance to benefit from their hard work. Her remarkable marketing skills and her wonderful employees led her company to great success. Mary became a salesperson for Stanley home products. She would host huge house parties and then persuade them into buying the household items. She did a stellar jab at making sales that she even got hired by a different company called World Gifts in 1952.
