The starting point for my architectural dream became the day when my mother brought me to the French Academy of Architecture 14 years ago, during our vacation in Paris. What stood out the most for me was the unique atmosphere of drawing classes and workshop rooms which inspired me in so many ways. Since that, a pencil and rubber were my best companions. Growing up, I began to expand my knowledge about history of architecture and learn how the environment, culture, people, and their values influence the physical structures of each particular building. Architecture and art became the strongest of my interests, and I decided to cultivate this enthusiasm into a profession. I intent to further develop my creativity and innovative thinking skills as well as gain a deep knowledge of the North American architecture development approach. During my architectural experience I got faced with the fact that design development mostly is a problem-solving process which involves applying of creative strategies, technical abilities, and some interdisciplinary knowledge. However, the most difficult task of architect is to make those things work together with logic. Through the design studio and collaborative practice I would like to explore new contemporary methods of creative problems solving in architectural design and architectural analysis which are not a systematic knowledge therefore are very challenging. I have carefully reviewed the Master of Architecture program structure and believe that it is relevant to my goals and incorporates considerable flexibility for me to pursue my particular interests related to different creative approaches. It will definitely help me to integrate myself into architectural field in North America, where I plan to build my future career.
