Chris had parents that loved him, a roof over his head, and food to eat. Despite all those riches he had, he threw them away. Chris was a very selfish man.
Perspective of Christopher McCandless’s Life Callarman’s argument to Christopher McCandless’s is relatable and understanding, but he does not see the full picture. Why some people would think that Chris McCandless was reckless and arrogant is because they look at him as if he just ran into the wild not knowing anything. This is just not a fair way to judge him. He was actually very intelligent he graduated at the top of his class at Emory university.
Christopher McCandless’s was a young wise man and stubborn guy that was intelligent he knew the right answers to respond which got himself out of things but also got himself into difficult situations that were not processed right. McCandless was raised in a upper middle class family in Annandale Virginia by parents Walt and Billie. He had eight siblings which one he was super close to named Carine and the rest were half siblings from his dads first marriage. Growing up Chris had a rough childhood with his parents problems and the affairs they had. McCandless would question himself why people would treat each other bad he would try to make a sense of the world.

In Thank You for Smoking, the ad hominem fallacy appears when Nick Naylor suggests that warning labels should be put in products like cars, airplanes, and Vermont cheddar cheese. He uses this fallacy because he was trying to show the audience at a meeting that cigarettes are not the only product that is dangerous. Instead of focusing on the real argument, he was trying to attack the motives from the different representatives that were at the
