The Maze Runner Could you imagine being in the glade not knowing your age, parents, or why you were there? James Dashner puts together a very suspenseful book. Thomas is the main character in the book The Maze Runner, he is a big leader and is trying to get his friends and him out along with all of the dangers in the maze. The Maze Runner the movie and The Maze Runner the book I would say are pretty different and share some things in common.

Everyone who has been chosen to come up to the glade has came come up in a box. Thomas came up in a box and so has everyone else who has chosen to come up to the glade. When you come up you are all confused where you are, how old you are, and why you were there, you also are a newbie and get called names for an instant the word shank. The book states that they compare what each day looks like from the rest of the days that they went running and in the movie, they always look at the model and see what ways they should take and what ways they shouldn't. Another difference is in the book Thomas and Minho discover the griever hole by following a griever there. And in the movie, they find the griever hole by following a mechanical device they ripped from the body of the dead griever. The book tells you that by observing and following but not expected to find it, and the movie they are just following a mechanical device that leads them to the griever hole. And the last reason is that in the book they by themselves after the grievers attacked, and the movie they take a group of leaders into the maze. I know this because the movie they just wait until they attack then leave because they don't have a plan how to get out, and the movie they assemble a plan and take some glades that could survive and get through the
