I began my career at DeVry University as a Career Advisor and later promoted to my current position as an Associate Director of Career Services. My positions in Career Services requires research on the hidden job market and employment trends in order to effectively advise our students and alumni for success in the working world. Having done the research on the hidden job market and employment trends, it is clear that in order to continue to be successful, one would need to continuously reinvent him or herself and be open to change with company trends and the world. Throughout my tenure at DeVry University, I have seen a variety of changes which had an impact on my role in where I had to constantly adapt to these changes in order to stay relevant.
