We are living in an incredible time, with globalization and technology playing an increasingly important and meaningful role in everyone’s lives. I have always been fascinated by the application of technology in business, and this interest along with my past entrepreneurial experiences have been instrumental in my decision to pursue a management degree.

As a technology professional, my core strengths have always been my technical abilities combined with my leadership experience and passion for entrepreneurship. There is no doubt in saying that these are all great qualities but unfortunately are just not sufficient to accomplish my long-term goal of starting my global consultant services company ,or even less, to meet my short-term objective of becoming a management consultant once I graduate.

To work in a strategy planning and business development consultant role, it is very clear that I must learn the additional skills of finance, marketing, sales, business ethics, writing business cases, improve presentation skills and build effective communication, among various other things. Based on my research and talking to the current student body I have come to find out that the Texas MBA’s curriculum teaches courses not only on these but also on a plethora of other essential topics in a very collaborative and interactive environment.
