The opportunity to pursue a business degree in McCombs School of Business has been a privilege. I am a first generation college student and being a part of such a respected and supportive school has helped me grow tremendously. I hope to continue my studies in McCombs through the Master in Professional Accounting program to pursue a career path in accounting.
In order to do so, I would need financial support from the school. Although my family greatly supports me in pursuing a higher education, they do not have the means to so. I have to rely on loans and financial aid in order to afford to be part of this wonderful school. A scholarship will greatly alleviate my financial condition and allow me to focus on my studies and not compromise in living necessities. To express my gratitude towards all the support that McCombs have provided me, I hope to give back to the school and their programs. I think that this is essential because I was lucky to be given this opportunity to be a student here and I want others to also be given the same opportunity. There are also many great programs and research being that I hope will continue growing and be a part of the university's mission to change the world we are in for the better.

In the past three years, I have learned many things across many different areas that will enable me to become successful in my career path. I have also met many great faculty and students that inspires me and encourages me to continue growing. To take responsibility for the opportunities given, I have worked hard to keep my academics high at 3.86 overall gpa and 3.90 business gpa.I have also joined the Masters in Professional Accounting Council in order to provide my fellow classmates with a sense of community and a place to work together to improve ourselves academically and career
