Medal of Honor Recently, around the middle of my junior year, I’ve been wanting to go to the military. I want to be the best of the best; I want to be a Marine. I’ve wanted this dream because of the discipline it takes, I need that discipline, the dedication, I have that dedication and want to prove to myself I have what it takes and to others who doubt me, and the honor it brings. I’ve wanted to do this ever since I went to my cousin’s graduation in California. After I saw this I wanted to do it. Plus, it’ll help me get the college education I need to do what I want to do in life, and also give me skills I’ll have for the rest of my life. Here are some reasons why I want to win the Medal of Honor. My first reason would have to be that I’m going to do my best no matter what. I’m going to give it my all just like I’d want everyone in there to do their best. It can determine life or death… we, as a group, as a hotel, is only as strong as our weakest link. If one person in our hotel isn’t trying their hardest… then how will we be able to survive when it counts? Trick question... surviving always counts so we always have to give it our all. I may have been a slacker in school and now I’m in summer school trying to make up my slacking mistakes, but because I’ve slacked off my high school years I don’t have the greatest GPA or greatest grade point average. That means I’m going to have to pay for college myself, at least the majority. If I go to the Marines they’ll pay for college for me so I can get a doctrine in theology so I can do my true dream job.
