Hello, my name in Calista Banihashemi. I am 10 years old and currently in Ms. Folendorfs 5th-grade class. I enjoy my free time reading, playing soccer, and coming up with new and fun games. I am a very confident, focused, fun, and organized person. I think that I will be a great addition to the ASB program at Medea Creek. I have many amazing and new ideas for Medea and I would love to make a greater impact as well as a better learning environment for students. I would like to be apart of ASB because I want to be able to make Medea a better place to be. My sister went to Medea for all 3 years and she loved it. One of my qualifications is that I have been a student council representative for 4 years. I am a great leader and work to my full ability everytime. Another one of my qualifications is that I have volunteered in and outside of the school. Right now I currently have 12 volunteer hours and by the end of March will have 22 hours. Whenever I do something I always give 110% no matter how easy or how hard it is. Also, I am in a program that is called Women in History. I have attended all the meetings and am practicing my speech everyday. I always help my partner when she has some difficulty and I feel at Medea it would be no different. Sometimes when a teacher ask me to go in early to help them set up I always do. For example, I always showed up at that time whenever they need me and I would always help whenever they need it, no matter who it is. This relates to ASB because if you need me at the school at an early time I would always show up to support and help the school and program.
