The emperor knew that they wanted to know how there inventions were made but china decided not to tell anyone how they were made thow so they keeped it a secret. Barbarians first started invading trade routes and trying to get information on the products and how they made them but it didn't work. Barbarians then started invading the towns, invaders would mostly come from the North and they were called Mongols . The government would then send out soldiers to get rid of them but they would just come back. This kept going on but emperors wouldn't do anything. Till one day Qin Shi Huang the emperor decided to put out the order to build a wall to keep them out this wall is now called The Great Wall of China and is the longest man built wall not just this but it's the oldest wall. The Great wall was made hundreds of year ago but it’s still not done. Since the wall is so old pieces and chunks of the wall are always falling of and are rebuilt. Since then the invasions into China have been minimized
