Concept
Medieval Metals is a business that was started in 2018, to open Granite City to the ancient art of blacksmithing, and the various forms of it. As a new business in the area, M.M will be selling an assortment of equipment that replicates the archaic styles of Celtic, Medieval, and other ancient forms. The quality of the product will be one of maximum effort, and the price will always be fair and bargainable.
Our goal as a business is to open every citizen of Granite City to their personalized item made from our bare hands. To have Medieval Metals craftsmanship out in the community would be an honor to those that lived by the sword. A step back into our human history is required to understand the undemanding lifestyle of modern life.

Handles can be replaced on a variety of tools and blades. Bone, wood, wire, and other materials can be replaced if the blade is worthy of keeping. If blades need sharpened, one of the M.M blacksmiths can reface the weapon.
Metal variations:
High Carbon steel-
High carbon steel is named for the higher amount of carbon in each steel grade. High carbon steel is any type of steel containing 0.55- 0.95% carbon content. This high amount of carbon drastically increases the strength of a blade, but can lead to brittleness if not tempered properly. High Carbon Steel is best for shorter blades, that aren’t required to bend.
Stainless steel-
Stainless steel is highly resistant to rust because of the amount of chromium within the metal. Starting at 10.5% chromium their is little rust protection, gradually increasing to the maximum protection at 16% chromium. This metal is ideal for yard ornaments and other outside equipment.
Iron- Iron is not as strong as steel, but is easily malleable. The more ancient replicas will be made out of iron to simulate archaic design.
Copper- Copper is a very attractive material, adding some color to an otherwise bland item. It will be used, in wire form, to complete the hilt.
