Since birth, humans begin learning how to become members of society, which is referred to as socialization.Through socialization, individuals develop their identity, behavior, and ways of thinking and feeling ,which are essential to productively be part of society. Individuals acquire the beliefs, ethics, and conduct of their way of life due to agents of socialization, such as school, media, networks, relatives and peers.Agents of socialization can have a major impact on what a person learns about his or her culture and how to act in society. Beginning at age two, Stephanie has been practicing ballet in Australia. However, after she became Muslim, she stopped doing ballet due to no ballet school allowing her to wear a hijab to class.
