Dear Mr Ibrahimović, I have recently read an article with great interest dated 25th December 2013, citing many of your remarks from an interview you did on a rather controversial subject. I do respect your opinion on the topic, however I found some inaccuracies in your arguments, about “men’s football can’t be compare to female football” so I would welcome the opportunity to respond to your comments.
First of all I partially agree with your statement “with all respect for the ladies, they should be rewarded in relation to what they generate (financially)” I wholly agree with this assertion this is because football is multi billion pound industry so success should be judged on the players financial income. However the talent of the player is directly proportional to their financial performance so better players usually get more money. Additionally, football is a male dominated sport which means financially men earn more because of sponsorships for example Cristiano Ronaldo he earns 14.1 million pounds just from Nike!. In contrast you can argue that women footballers and sportswomen in general do not get enough opportunities of sponsorship deals and fame so

Let me give you an example Marta Vieira da Silva is a Brazilian women footballer who has won FIFA Player of the Year a record of 5 times. She has scored 92 goals in just 95 appearances for the Brazilian women’s national football team which means she has a higher goals per game ratio then you, so why doesn’t she deserve to be compared to male footballers?. In addition this links to this quote “players in the men’s football team deserve to get more recognition” because players in a women’s football team deserve just as much recognition as they work just as
