Human rights issues are an enormous problem in today’s society. The human rights issue I will be focusing in this essay are mental disabilities. This is a worldwide problem - “approximately 1 in 5 adults in the U.S.—43.8 million, or 18.5%—experiences mental illness in a given year”; these disabilities effect people’s everyday life and make it much harder to do every day activities.
