Mercy Behavioral Health is committed to empowering individuals and families to overcome barriers and to lead healthy and successful lives the community. Guided by the tradition, mission and values of the Sisters of Mercy, Mercy Behavioral Health’s non-discrimination action plans states that all services are provided without discrimination and provide equal employment opportunities.
I am thrill to see that the plan extends to equality and justice to other minorities, outside racial groups, such as the aged and disabled. I value that Pittsburgh Mercy Health care is individualized and the affirmative action illustrates that. Individualized health care, and methods to mandate equality in agencies is vital tool to improve the health of all Americans.
