Metaphor’s often magnify the message of ones statement’s/point’s, strengthing the core subject of a speech, methaphor’s also serve to assist the auidnence in comprehension. In order for a metaphor to be fully effective, one must properly use it within his letter, essay, etc. An appropiate example of such would be in Dr. Martin Luther King Junior’s astonishing speech “I Have a Dream.” The extensive use of metaphor’s in this speech made his auidence vividly comprehend his thought provoking message.
