The Miami Heat NBA team is a great example of healthy conflict and resolutions. During the 2013-14 seasons, the team went through a multitude of conflicts with resulted into multiple losses and also shame in the eyes of the public media. Within the dates of February 3rd 2013 to March 27th 2013, this team was on a winning streak that hit highlights of the best record in NBA history due to the Big 3 era. The Big 3 era began when the team signed on LeBron James and Chris Bosh both NBA All-Stars to local superstar Dwayne Wade who was already the star of the Miami Heat’s team, thus becoming the Big 3. The NBA questioned whether or not it was imbalanced to have so many all star players on one team, but suspicions went away and predications of all time. After James left the game, the Spurs gained an additional 17 points closing out with a win. This is a medical conflict were James could no longer continue the game, but even though he was out of the game there were two other star players who could have helped prevent the other team from not scoring. This seems to be an unorganized play because no matter if the star player is injured anyone else shouldn’t have been discouraged. Another conflict would be the overly expected predications of the Big 3 era. Out of 10 games this team lost to 6, the team couldn’t find an identity of whose team is it based on the Big 3, and what roles to play. Unlike the Big 3, the other players couldn’t average no more than 10 points per game. Emotions ascended at the end of each game in the locker room because the team was not understanding why they were looking so much when they has three all-star players who should be carrying them through the playoffs.
