Bath, N.Y. (WENY) -- Another thorough day of testimony in Michael Beard's murder trial. Monday morning, Brian Lang the owner of ServPro, the company Thomas Clayton worked for, took the stand. He testified to his business relationship with Clayton and GPS tracking in the ServPro vehicles. He said he grew up with Clayton in Binghamton and hired him in January of 2015. Lang testified to the GPS tracking system in ServPro vehicles. He said Clayton's car the night of Kelley's death shows him leaving ServPro at 6:10 pm. Arriving home in Caton around 7:25 pm. Moving to Corning shortly before 8:00 pm and back at the Clayton residence at 12:34 am. He testified to Clayton's attorney asking him to search Clayton's personal car for a duffle bag, Clayton's passport and a bag containing $100,000 cash. He said he borrowed a 4-wheeler from Clayton the Saturday before Kelley's death. When he spoke with Clayton about returning them, Clayton suggested they switch cars instead of moving the 4-wheels from car to car. Luke's car is a red doge pickup truck that has been mention as Beard's allege transportation to and from the Clayton's home the night of Kelley's death. Another former ServPro employee, Kevin Morris, testified as well. He said he knew Clayton & Beard for more than 3 years. He said Beard was indebted to Clayton, saying he saw Clayton give Beard many gifts and loans over the years. Morris also said Clayton would flaunt thousands of dollars in front of him & Michael Beard, including displaying $10,000 dollars in front of them.
