The white officer, Darren Wilson had shot an unarmed black teenager who was Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri on Saturday, 9 August 2014. Darren Wilson was a police that involved in arrest a drug suspect in 2013. He had suspect that Michael Brown was involved in drug so that he used an excessive force to Michael Brown. After that he told the authorities that Michael Brown had reached for the gun when they were fight. The blood of Michael Brown was on the gun as well as on uniform that wear by Officer Wilson at that time. The Officer Wilson also told the authorities that Michael Brown had punched and beat him until there was facial and neck swelled even though some of witnesses stated otherwise. Although the courts wanted juries gave policemen no extra credence because of their badges. As jurors, they need to be fair in this case moreover case that involved death. It is a normal thing if both parties defended themselves, because nobody would admit crime that they did. Currently, the case of Michael Brown and Officer Wilson still do not have a solution. Many residents that lived in Missouri are supporting Michael Brown while many police officers and some residents that support the Officer Wilson. This case is still not complete because the cases involving court need a time to be solved.
After the incident, all of polices in Ferguson had been supplied with a camera for everyone. The chief of Ferguson police said that officers were well received the cameras and enjoy to had it. They were trying to use those cameras. Even though there would be some advantages for future work of police officers, but the new technology of cameras that used by police officer against angry residents. Some of residents did not agree with that new technology. It is because of there would be an effect to the residents’ life that would feel uncomfortable with the attention that given by police officer. Do not allow police officer keep the video on their entire shift, to ensure that officer cannot manipulate that video. The video that was recorder must be sent to police department to be store and evaluate every period of time to ensure all the data or records is secure.
