Michael Jackson Biography
Michael Jackson was born on the 29th of August 1958, in Gary Indiana (Michael Jackson). He was not only known for his singing in the Motown band “The Jackson 5”, he was once an amazing individual singer (Michael Jackson). In addition to his record topping songs with his family band, he also produced many solos that still hold records today. For example, Michael’s song “Thriller” holds the record for the best-selling album in history (Nelson,Ken).Supplementary to Michael Jackson's solo singing career, he started singing in his family band at a very young age, he even sang as the lead in the band’s song “ABC” (Michael Jackson).

The band started out as only his older brothers, Tito, Jermaine, and Jackie, but then he joined and emerged as the lead vocalist at age 5. The band sung for a while, but got its first break when the Motown founder Berry Gordy signed them to his label in 1969. After being signed with Motown, the “Jackson 5” published their song, “I Want You Back” in December of 1969. This song reached the top of the charts, and there were many songs that followed in the same suit for the Jackson 5. Michael Jackson also had a very fulfilling and successful solo career at the age of 13. He debuted this new career with the chart topping song, “Got To Be There”. Michael went on to make many more songs, with the Jackson 5 and by himself. When Michael hit the peak of his career, he made a million dollar contract with the Pepsi Company. At this point in his life, his career began to spiral. After his trial, Michael’s finances were in shambles and he went to live with a friend and then had a dispute over his housing. Michael Jackson had truly come to the end of his career when he could not afford to pay for his own place to live. Unfortunately, on June 25, 2009, he was taken to an L.A hospital with cardiac arrest as the medics tried to save him. Sadly, the award winning and record holding singer was no longer alive.
