Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan wasn’t always great. Once in middle school he tried out for the basketball team but made bench warmer. There was one thing he was good at and that was baseball. Jordan got so good he even has is own shoe line. One game he had the flu but he still played. He set so many records and led the team to many championships.

Michael Jordan was born February 17, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York.
He was 1 of 5 children. When he was young his family moved to Wilmington, North Carolina. Jordan's dad worked at a electric plant as a supervisor and his mother worked at a bank. His dad taught Jordan not to get in the street life and his mom taught jordan how to do stuff around the house. Michael played many different sports in high school. But he did not make the sophomore year on the team. Then practiced and practiced and made the high school varsity team. He got so good he got a scholarship to the University Of North Carolina.

But then he came back better than ever by scoring 49 points against the Boston Celtics. He was the only person to score 3,000 points in a season besides Wilt Chamberlain. In 1988 he earned defensive player of the year. He was also the league MVP. In 1991 the Bulls won the NBA finals. And the next year they won the championship again. Jordan won another olympics game in 1992. They won the NBA championship 3 years in a row. After that Jordan's dad was murdered. After that jordan decided to retire for a little amount of time to get his mind off things. Jordan loved to play golf and baseball so In 1994-95 he decided to play baseball for a minor league team. Then he came back to the bulls for the 1995-1996 season and that was his best year of basketball in his career. Jordan led the league in ppg scoring 30.4 points. Then later ended his career in 2003. I guess you could say Michael Jordan is the g.o.a.t. Aka greatest of all
