Michael Jordan, known for his innovative style and incredible skill in his 15 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA), is considered by most as the world's most famous basketball player. His innovative style of play and his impressive scoring ability (average of more than 30.5 points per game throughout his career). His charismatic and attractive personality make him the father of modern day basketball that started in the mid 80’s. Michael went from being an unknown player in a team with no titles to one of the biggest athletes ever. Michael Jordan was a phenomenal athlete having the ability to jump out of the gym, but the team that picked him in the draft, the Chicago Bulls, were a disaster with very poor sports results and a lot of problems and scandals. The way to the top of the league was not easy for Michael, but he achieved it little by little “fighting” the Boston Celtics during the initial years and later the Detroit Pistons. At the beginning of Michael’s career, the journalists said he was “soft” because his team was repeatedly beaten by Boston and Detroit. Micheal also said that he didn't even make the high school varsity team in his freshman year.
