Mattie Cook is the main character and her family owns a coffee shop the coffee shop if connected to there house. the people that lives in the house is her mom and grandfather. Mattie tries to avoid doing chores like any other kids. They live in Philadelphia. Disease sweeps the streets, destroying everything in its path.
A Maturing Experience When talents are discovered, it is easy for us to place all our worth and purpose in that one thing, despite the warning “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket”. However, this is exactly what Johnny did in the book Johnny Tremain. As a naturally talented silversmith, Johnny became prideful and foolish, placing all his value in his workmanship. Then a wealthy man by the name of Hancock comes to ask the silversmiths to fix his Sugar Basin for his wife that Mr. Lamphan had originally made.

In the story, “House of the Scorpions”, by Nancy Farmer, The main character is Matt, although he gets pushed around a lot by people. The main setting is Opium and Aztlan. In the beginning of the story, Matt is made as a clone in a Lab. The main problem/Conflict we find in the story is that people don’t find Matt to be a person. They think he is a beast because he is a clone of El Patron, also known as the druglord.

Through this journey, Matt maps the definition of an archetypal hero because he enters both the known and unknown worlds, gets help from numerous people, and receives a gift of compassion which he uses to make Opium a better place. Matt’s lonely early years and an inherent curious nature compel him to connect with the outside world in his call to adventure when he sees Steven, Emilia, and Maria playing outside of the small cabin that both Celia and he lived in. At that point, Matt’s curiosity overcame the strict rules set by Celia, and he broke free. Matt’s call to adventure maps one of an archetypal hero because it propels him into the cruel, unknown world of Opium.

Alan Moore’s “V for Vendetta” represents a dystopian future where most of the world has been destroyed by nuclear war. Moore’s view of the world is black and white and he argues that anarchy is the only way everyone can be truly free. In the novel, the Norsefire fascist government lead by Adam Susan, keeps Britain safe by censoring and heavily surveilling its citizens. The message of the novel is that we must always strive for freedom even if said freedom is dangerous.
The concept of psychopaths and sociopaths in Western society and culture is not clearly defined, and covers a great range of character, attitudes and behaviour. This range includes everything from someone who is introverted and not socially adept to mass murderers and cannibals. Characters of psychopaths in early films were often created without a real understanding of psychopathic personalities. They were often portrayed as caricatures, being emotionally unstable, sadistic, sexually compulsive and with an urge to engage in random violence, murders, and destruction. This was often accompanied by bizarre mannerisms, such as giggling, laughing, or facial tics, often creating famous but unreal characters.
Horror has been one of the most powerful and popular genres throughout film history and horror movies have been around since the earliest years of cinema. Most commonly cited as the first horror movie is The Haunted Castle (Le Manoir du diable in French), a short by influential French filmmaker Georges Méliès. The Devil Wears Prada is about a new college graduate aspiring to become a journalist, Andrea (Andy), who is trying to adapt to her first job as the junior personal assistant to Miranda Priestly, the high demanding and cold editor-in-chief of Runway fashion magazine. Andy starts out her job knowing almost nothing about Runway, and of fashion itself. She feels like she doesn’t fit in with her attractive, gossip-obsessed co-workers, and Miranda’s senior assistant, Emily, was always there to remind her of it. Later on, she receives fashion advice from Nigel, the art director and gradually begins to dress herself more stylishly. Andy works harder than ever, trying to prove to Miranda that she wasn’t a disappointment, and she eventually succeeds when Miranda offers to take her to the Paris fashion show instead of Emily.
