The Renaissance was the greatest explosion of arts and technical innovative ideas in the history of Europe. Renaissance is known to be the French word for “rebirth” which was a cultural movement that spanned roughly the 14th to the 17th century. In those days there were two Renaissance men who towered above the rest, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. Emerging as supreme, Leonardo da Vinci was described as an archetype of the “Renaissance Man” (The Complete Works). He excelled in many fields such as science, inventing, drawing, painting and sculpturing but unfortunately he was not formally educated (Biography Leonardo da Vinci, 2016). On the other hand they were different where De Vinci was an individual contributor whereas Steve Jobs worked with another individuals and made something extraordinary out of it. Da Vinci’s work of art would be remembered after a thousand years and Steve Jobs’ work might be remembered by few. De Vinci had paranoid behavioral qualities, for example, he wrote all his ideas and plans in a journal and carried it around with him everywhere as he always thought that someone would steal his ideas as there weren’t copy write laws at that time but Steve Jobs left behind a notebook with the development plans for Apple for the next four years.
