Michelangelo was a famous architect and artist during the Renessaince era in italy from 1475-1564, the classical renessaince architecture was usually high spherical domes , high pillars and columns and buildings having a large overall structure. Michelangelo often got his ideas for his work from Neoplatonic philosophy, and many critics attempt to make Neoplatonic interpretations of Michelangelo's works. Neoplatonism was a form of philosophy which lasted till the closing of the Platonic academy by Justinian I. This form of philosophy is heavily influenced by Plato’s teachings. Neoplatonism is the thought that there is a whole reality from a single principle.

The Great Artists of the Renaissance The Renaissance was an era of great masterpieces and ingenuity from the minds of the greatest artists in the history of humankind. Renaissance literally means "rebirth", which is fitting because this time period was the revival period for learning and values of the Ancients. This time period was thought by scholars to be a time of revival and upbringing from the dark times of the Middle Ages in which learning was lost.
Leonardo da Vinci was not only a painter but also an architect, and inventor. Due to this he was known as The Renaissance Man (Bio.com Staff). Leonardo’s paintings have had a lasting impact on the Renaissance era. His most known pieces of work are The Last Supper and Mona Lisa.
The Renaissance was a period in time where everything started to change after the middle ages. During this historical period humans stared evolving by becoming smarter and inventing useful recourses that have changed the world. The renaissance was a life changing period which brought more joy to the world after conquering the dark ages. The Renaissance changed man’s view on the world by using Art, Science and Literature to make humans brighter and because of the rapid information they were gaining. Art during the Renaissance grew rapidly because of Leonardo Da Vici, and Michelangelo who changed the way people painted and drew by creating strategies which made art more interesting.
Nicolaus Copernicus is the perfect Renaissance man because he is knowledgeable in many areas and he uses his knowledge to help society. He studied mathematics in Poland and religious law, medicine, and astronomy in Italy. Moreover, using his knowledge in astronomy, Nicolaus Copernicus proved why the theories of Ptolemy and other astronomers about the movement of celestial bodies are wrong. Being well educated in multiple subjects and using this education to affect the world around you positively is a thing that is typical for the perfect Renaissance man, and since Nicolaus Copernicus has done both of those things, it can be concluded that he is an example of a perfect Renaissance man.
Though, influenced Michelangelo’s works and texts has religious theme and his art embodied a notion and vision of human dignity and reliance on the Creator. Michelangelo was completely committed to art and religion and lived prudently despite his fame. According to Roger, Michelangelo “was affectionate and generous to his family and friends, but he is also inclined to be distrustful and withdrawn harboring a sharp temper and a sarcastic tongue” (Eugène 62). In the art world, Michelangelo is viewed as an archetype Renaissance character due to the extraordinary order and flexibility he displayed in his works.
I think by definition moral principles are nonnegotiable. It is the personal guidelines for every individual in which they live and make decisions on. If you have ever heard the phrase “it is not the money it’s the principle. People are not always upset because you took their material belongings, money and etcetera. They are mad because you violated one of their values or moral principles.

Most people know Leonardo Da Vinci as being painter but he was also a sculptor, architect, engineer, musician, inventor and scientist. Da Vinci was a hard worker and had a creative soul that reflected in all his work. From the Renaissance to present day Leonardo Da Vinci work is still admired and constantly influences people all around the world. Leonardo Da Vinci was one of the most gifted, well rounded artist of the Renaissance. This can been proven through research and collected data.
Michelangelo had a gigantic influence on the renaissance. He was a master at both painting and sculpting, he also was an architect, engineer, and poet. During his day he was unbeatable in his painting and sculpting skills. He had many artist study under him and help him with painting the Sistine Chapel in Vatican, but none were on par with him.
“The Last Judgement” fresco by Michelangelo started its creation in 1536 A.D and completed in 1541 A.D. “The Last Judgement” depicts the second coming of Jesus Christ and contains many biblical figures and references (Dr. Esperanca Camara/ Khan Academy). “The Last Judgement” portrays those that are blessed are saved from damnation; however, those less fortunate live for eternity in hell. The significance of preserving the fresco is that Michelangelo is one of the most prominent painters of the era, and the fresco is important to those who hold their beliefs in the Bible. A major event that shaped the life when the fresco was created was the “Sack of Rome” which occurred on the 6th of May 1527 (Encyclopædia Britannica, 2017).
