The institution’s unwavering dedication to public interest work has influenced my motivation to join the community. Unlike other law programs, Michigan has devoted an extensive amount of resources toward the public interest curriculum at the university. The entire public interest program has over 90 faculty members and 18 clinics, ensuring that I will gain hands-on experience as a public interest advocate. The 18 clinics offered at Michigan Law will allow me to gain practical experience in diverse areas of legal practice, equipping me with the tools to develop a comprehensive skill set.
