Middle Adulthood Interview Analysis

The person that I chose to interview is currently 87 years old. This man has been through a lot during his lifetime. Some of the events he has been apart of are World War I, World War II, He fought in the Korean War, The Great Depression, The first man to land on the moon, JFK assassination, and even the great recession. Due to his older age, I was able to ask him questions about his adolescence,young adulthood, middle adulthood, and his late adulthood. During his young adult hood life he only have a few opportunities to go have fun with his friends. His father died when he was only 11 years old and without his fathers income coming in, someone had to help support the family. So he started working at the age of 11. He had a full time job as soon as he got out of high school. He worked at the Ralston Purina plant in Iowa Falls Iowa from 18 till he was 63 years old. Although he did work almost all the time, when he did have free time he enjoyed going to movies with his friends. Throughout his middle adult hood he kept working at the Ralston Purina plant and continued to support his family. His wife was a school teacher at the local elementary school where she taught 4th grade. Now that he was older he had the ability to go on some family vacations during the summer. They had the opportunity to travel all around the United States and they had the opportunity to travel to several different countries.
