Hundreds of fashion lovers will travel to the Indianapolis Arts Garden where the Midwest Fashion Week will be held on October 13th to enjoy a live runway fashion show, established designers, Indianapolis executives, and live performances.
Midwest Fashion Week first started in 2006 and since has expanded to major events such as New York and Paris Fashion Week. Midwest Fashion Week was established to create and celebrate endless possibilities and opportunities within the clothing design community. This fashion community is dedicated to empowering the creativity of new and local designers to help them learn and grow within their career. For over a decade, the Midwest Fashion Week has showcased over 300 designers from several different countries. The Midwest Fashion Week’s goal is to bring “midwest style” to the world. With shows being hosted annually in New York, Paris, Chicago, and Indianapolis, there is endless fashion, styles, and designers from all corners of the world.

Harbridge won’t be in attendance at this year’s fashion show due to her studies and her internship obligations. However, her Fall 2017 line, Sonorous, can be appreciated for the richness of her own personal taste and as a visual and wearable works of art. Next year she hopes to have her collection and pieces showcased in the Midwest Fashion Show. Harbridge’s internship is with Aubry Lane, a handbag designing company based in Indianapolis.
