Migrant Crisis Speech Analysis
Chapter 16 from the book Mexican Migrants by Hellman talks about how he started seeing life differently when he met Francisco. When he met Francisco he noticed he was a very reserved man. He believed that the actions immigrants do reflect on everyone, for example if they see immigrants being criminals now everyone will think everyone is like that. I agree with Francisco because some people might meet the wrong and bad Mexican immigrants and will judge everyone out of one person, then later this becomes hard to make that person believe that not everyone is like the first person he encounter with. The problem with esquineros was that they stood all day hoping to get picked to go work with a contractor on a construction site.

It 's interesting to see how passionate people are when it comes to America 's history and how bright the future can be. In the two pieces, one author uses pathos to evoke people’s emotions to remind them of their past, and another uses formality and articulate language to set plans for the future. In the Declaration of Independence and the Fourth of July speech both authors use tone, details, and syntax to make their purpose, whether it be about the past or the future, or whether it be setting goals or swaying opinions, understood.

Francis had to experience many different things when moving to America. Any person from another country that speaks a different language would have trouble in a new place. I am going to tell you about the changes you have to make to come in a different placed. The hardest thing to get used to is the language; everything is more difficult when you don’t know the language. Even to get a job is harder you might not know what your boss is asking and get fired.

There are many challenges that immigrants face throughout their lives. Many immigrants are able to come to the U.S., but it is not easy as it seems. One challenge that immigrants go through is being able to have respect that the U.S. citizens have. Another challenge that immigrants face is being able to adapt to the new environment. People who arrive in the U.S. might not be able to speak English.
The poem Refugee Blues was written by Wilfred. H .Auden in 1939 during World War Two. “Refugees Blues” is in reference to the abuse of human rights and the suffering, despair and isolation that all refugees experience during their journey of survival. The poet uses a range of techniques such as contrast, emotive language and personification to convey the hardship refugees had to endure.
