Linkin park is my favorite rock band. I like them because of their different styles in music. They are alternative Rock, hard Rock, alternative Metal and most of all, I like their style of ‘Electronic Rock’. I generally prefer pop over rock, but because of Linkin Park’s Styles, I started to ‘love’ rock. I like Chester Bennington, the lead singer of the band. Sometimes I like Mike Shinoda who is into hip hop style of rapping in rock style. Shinoda is the lead rapper of the band. I like the combination of both, Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington. The combination of both of them enhances the band more. It’s not only those 2 singers which gives the band success, without the other group members of the band, there’s no point in having the band.
Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon and Mike Shinoda, 3 friends from the same school, formed the band “Xero” which is the starting point of the band Linkin Park. Later on, they changed their name to Lincoln Park, But since they didn’t get the internet domain as Lincoln Park, they chose the domain ‘linkin park’ as it was the only one available, hence they changed the band’s name to “Linkin Park”. Shinoda is an American producer of records, musician and also an artist. His father was half Japanese and half American. Mike is the band’s lead guitarist, lead vocalist, a keyboardist and also a songwriter. When he was young, his mother encouraged him to learn the piano. When he was Thirteen years old, he started moving to play the styles of jazz and blues and hip hop too. Later on he added his guitar and also vocals when he was in high school.
