We all have our own set in stone opinions about international pop sensation, Miley Cyrus. Either you love her music, and what she stands for, or you think she should put her tongue back in her mouth and dress with more coverage. The Adore You singer gained a lot of attention this past week, and it didn’t involve her swinging nude on a giant wrecking ball. On May 5, Cyrus went on Good Morning America and officially launched her new Happy Hippie Foundation. A non-profit organization devoted to help homeless LGBT youth. To help promote her recent foundation, Cyrus is releasing a series of videos for her Backyard Sessions. No social media, no friends. She named all the people who made her life unbearable, as well as the ones she truly cared about. Cyrus paid a tribute to Leelah Alcorn when she released a video for her Backyard Sessions for the song No Freedom with the caption “Listened to this song a lot in December when Leelah passed away...These lyrics relate so perfectly to Happy Hippie & our message to the world!
