Why the United States Army is now using the Sustainable Readiness Model The United States Army has been in constant conflict since September 11, 2001. It is currently drawing down its forces but at the same time needs to prepare for an increasingly unpredictable future. The readiness models of the past are not able to provide the level of readiness and flexibility needed in the future with the combination of less troops and continued operations around the world.

I like writing all my notes out when studying for a test rather than simply reading off the slides given to me. I use this tactic when studying for every test. I use all of these methods to effectively learn, making me multimodal. In Chapter four we learned that there is more than one type of memory.
Classical and Operant Military Conditioning Daniel Morrison Stanly Community College ENG 112 Mrs. Drake Mar. 10, 2023 Abstract When it comes to military training there are two different ways to train soldiers the operant or classical way. The operant way is where soldiers are trained but are not rewarded for completing something, and this is the method our military currently uses. The other method is classical in which a solider is trained, but gets a treat once completed the task. When it comes to these two methods there are always different viewpoints, such as the positives of using the two different types of training.
D'Angilo Miles October 23, 2015 The Importance of Following Directions When we enlist into the United States' military we take an oath, an oath that in which we as individuals promise ti follow all orders given by president and the officers appointed above us. Anyone the is in the United States armed forces knows that the entire infrastructure is built upon order, a chain of command in which institutions are given and then executed. With the amount of people in the United States Army, if we did not adhere to this system there would surely be chaos, and the missions that need to be carried out would not be accomplished and that could negatively impact the lives of the very people we have sworn to protect. The simple expectation of executing orders that come down

This paper discusses the life and accomplishments of Aristotle, a philosopher in Ancient Greece. It will discuss where and when he was born. As we grow, learn, and develop, one example of a normative event is going to college. Students are encouraged by teachers to continue their education by attending college after high school to the point that its almost frowned upon if a student chooses not to. As an adolescent, already trying to figure out who they are and their role in the world, it must be overwhelming to have so many choices, paths, and decisions to make in hopes of doing what’s best for their future. During their college years, most students leave home for the first time to be responsible for making sure the bills are paid on time, their alarms are set, homework is done, and have the overall responsibility to make sure they’re doing everything they’re supposed to do. With a life so easily impacted by every experience, a lot could go wrong and there is a lot to think about along the way.
In the military, there are many important tasks and skills to know to accomplish your daily work. The relevance of each task or skill may vary depending on which MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) you hold. A Food Service Specialist will need to know how to prepare an omelet, and an Infantryman will need to know how to conduct a proper ambush. However, there are some skills that are universal across all MOS’s, such as how to maintain a weapon. Some of these skills are easily overlooked until you need them.
Not committing to the task could potentially suggest that they were incompetent or lack the capacity as a military personnel so facing ‘dangers’ was a much preferred option. Additionally, discipline in the military can be seen when an officer makes his salutes appropriately, their conduct, to the state of their uniform and even how they present themselves in public. While discipline in military is rewarded as it is a sign of respect and duty, misconduct on the other hand is punishable. When discipline is lacking in an army personnel, it not only affects their own performance but also the team as a whole. It is therefore important to instil discipline early and effectively.
